Nearly 1 million flu shots administered in Alberta this season

Albertans are busy rolling up their sleeves for a different type of jab.
The province says that, as of yesterday, the number of flu shots administered in Alberta was over 916,000.
That’s more than triple the number from just two weeks ago, but down slightly from the inoculation rate at this time last year.
Health officials have been urging people to get the flu vaccine to take pressure off hospitals already under strain from too many COVID-19 cases.
