Eric Van Essen projected to win Lethbridge County Division 5 by-election

LETHBRIDGE COUNTY, AB – The unofficial results are in for the Lethbridge County Division 5 by-election.
With 123 preliminary votes, Eric Van Essen will fill the vacant seat. Following Van Essen was Brad Howe with an estimated 83 votes, and Gerard Plettell with an estimated 29 votes.
In October’s municipal election, there were no candidates for Lethbridge County Division 5, which resulted in the need for a by-election. General voting day was held on Monday, December 13. An advance voting day was held on Saturday, December 4.
