One sent to hospital in north Lethbridge fire

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Crews responded to a residential fire in north Lethbridge on Friday evening.

Lethbridge firefighters were assisted by the Coaldale Fire Department as they responded to a home on 18 Avenue N., with cold temperatures making the blaze difficult to manage.

Crews were able to get the fire under control later into the evening. No injuries were sustained by responders; however, one resident was transported to hospital.

The fire is under investigation and a damage estimate is being determined.
