Hurricanes announce dates for three rescheduled games

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes have announced the new dates for games that were postponed at the start of the new year.

Four games were halted because of COVID-19. Two of those games will now take place in February with a third in March.

The January 2 game against Swift Current (in Lethbridge) will now take place Wednesday, February 2.

The January 7 matchup with Moose Jaw (in Lethbridge) will now take place Thursday, February 17, and the team’s game against Red Deer (in Red Deer), originally set for January 8, will take place on Monday, March 28.

The WHL club noted that details for the January 1 game against the Calgary Hitmen, which was also postponed, will be announced at a later date.

Tickets for the original dates will be accepted for all rescheduled home games.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes return to action on Wednesday, January 12 on home ice against the Swift Current Broncos. Game time is 7 p.m.

Lethbridge’s last played game was Tuesday, December 28, where they lost 5-2 to Swift Current.
