EDMONTON, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes did not end their three-game road trip through Alberta on the right note.

Travelling to Rogers Place on Sunday for a matchup with the Oil Kings, the Canes fell to the dominant home team 6-0.

Each period saw Edmonton score two goals. Dylan Guenther got a hat trick with one point in every period.

Lethbridge was out-shot 26-24 in the contest.

The Canes started out their road trip on a promising note, defeating the Calgary Hitmen 3-2 in overtime on Friday, but then falling 8-1 in Saturday’s clash with Red Deer.

With two days of rest coming up, the Hurricanes hope to regroup before Wednesday’s home game against the Swift Current Broncos.
