Lethbridge Fire Department donates surplus items to Ukraine
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services plans to donate its surplus items to support emergency relief efforts in Ukraine.
Items that will be donated include medical kits, disposable wound care material, personal protective equipment, retired safety equipment, boots, gloves, helmets, and clothing.
The organization says there is no cost for the surplus items listed, as they have no operational or market value.
Once collected and catalogued, the surplus items will be donated to local Ukrainian relief organizations, and then transported and distributed within Ukraine.
