Waste and recycling text reminders to end in Lethbridge on Friday
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Residents in Lethbridge are being advised that their text reminders for waste and recycling collection days will come to a stop on Friday, April 1.
People in the city who had previously signed up for text reminders about their waste and recycling schedule and encouraged to download the new Lethbridge Loop app. Increasing costs associated with text message reminders has influenced the move to the new app, which the City of Lethbridge says will provide cost savings of more than $10,000 every year.

The app is free to download and is available for both Apple and Android devices. As an incentive, the City of Lethbridge is offering two prize packs to residents who download the app. To enter the contest and learn more about the details and conditions, head to the City’s social media pages.
