Hurricanes to host Jerseys Off Our Backs auction and present season awards Friday night

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes have a big night planned for their last regular season home game on Friday.

On April 15, before the puck drops against the Moose Jaw Warriors at the ENMAX Centre, the Hurricanes will present this season’s team awards in a special pre-game ceremony. That ceremony starts at 7:00 p.m.

Later in the evening, the ‘Canes will host the return of the Jerseys Off Our Backs initiative. It’s a live jersey auction that takes place immediately after the game. The jerseys up for auction are this year’s new thirds – the game-worn cream jerseys.

Multiple moments occurred over the course of the season with the Hurricanes wearing the cream-coloured alternate jerseys, including the WHL debut of Miguel Marques in December.

The live jersey auction will take place at the north end of the ice. Fans wishing to take part are asked to seat themselves in sections H, I, J, K and L after the game.
