High-risk incident ends, one person taken into custody
LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) has taken one person into custody following what police call a ‘high-risk incident’ in Lethbridge.
Early in the afternoon on Thursday, June 2, 2022, officers were called to an apartment building near Walsh Drive and Heritage Boulevard West, where police say a man had barricaded himself in an apartment.
The LPS Tactical Team, Explosive Disposal Unit, K-9 Unit, and Victim-Witness Services team were all on the scene.
