The family of Kenneth Neil Miller is sad to announce his passing on June 30, 2022 at his home in Lethbridge.
He was predeceased by his parents Harold and Thelva Miller as well as brother Glen. He is survived by his sisters Donna Shank of Shaughnessy and Sandra Greenaway of Duncan, BC, his brother Brian of Kelowna, BC, and by his fiancé Charlene Desjarlais.
Ken was born in Rivers, Manitoba on December 1, 1958, grew up in Winnipeg and moved to Edmonton after completing high school. For some years he worked in an accounting capacity for the Alberta government until, as a result of diabetes, he suffered kidney failure at the young age of 32. He underwent a successful kidney transplant and moved to Lethbridge to begin a new life. In recent years he was a dialysis patient at the Lethbridge General Hospital. The family wishes to thank LGH for the kind attention shown to him by the medical staff.
He was fortunate to meet Charlene recently and we thank her for the happiness he enjoyed during their time together.
Ken was blessed with a keen intelligence and an inquiring mind and bore his health struggles bravely.
He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Service details will be announced at a later date.
