Serious collision blocks highway near Brooks

BROOKS, AB – Brooks RCMP are on the scene of a serious collision involving a semi truck and a pick-up truck.
RCMP say Highway 1 is impassable between Highway 876 and Range Road 12-4.
The RCMP expects traffic to be disrupted for several hours as the RCMP Collision Reconstructionist team is on site.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the area or use an alternate route if possible.
The RCMP says more details will be released as they become available.
