LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Bulls will be well represented at the Western Canadian Baseball League (WCBL) All-Star Game this month, with six players selected to play in the annual showcase.

Lethbridge Bulls utilityman Brad Goodwin, catcher Roger Riley, infielder Nick Gravel and pitchers Ben Erwin, Blade Strzelczyk and Joseph Sinclair will suit up for the West Division All-Star squad.

Gravel has a batting average of .264, while Goodwin is hitting at .298. Roger Riley has been a standout for the team, with a batting average of .342.

In 12 games, pitcher Ben Erwin has posted an ERA 1.01. Erwin is in his final summer of baseball after graduating from Niagara University.

Strzelczyk joined the Bulls late in the season. At the beginning of the campaign, the team was short on pitching. A text message from an old friend in Tyler Vivier convinced Strzelczyk to join the Lethbridge club for the summer. Since joining the team, he has posted an ERA of 2.57.

Sinclair, meanwhile, has been a member of the Bulls starting rotation all season long.

The 2022 WCBL All-Star Game will be played at Seamen Stadium in Okotoks on Saturday, July 23.

The day will feature a home run derby at 5:00 p.m., followed by pre-game ceremonies and the All-Star Game at 7:00 p.m. More on the Lethbridge Bulls is available at the team website. Further details about the All-Star Game are at the WCBL website.
