Street sweeping text reminders to end in Lethbridge on July 31

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Residents in Lethbridge who subscribe to the street sweeping text notification service are being reminded that the program comes to an end on July 31, 2022.

However, there is a new method that residents can receive their City of Lethbridge service reminders and that is by using the Lethbridge Loop app. The smartphone app can be downloaded to mobile devices for free. It allows users to be reminded of street sweeping and other City of Lethbridge services like waste and recycling, and planned power outages.

The app is available for both Android and Apple devices.

The City of Lethbridge noted that making the switch from the text notification service to the Lethbridge Loop app will result in a cost saving of more than $10,000 every year.
