LETHBRIDGE, AB – Getting fit, finding a job, or watching a performance on stage, there’s plenty to do around Lethbridge this week.
The Lethbridge Steel women’s tackle football association is hosting Ladies Night Football on Monday, August 8, 2022, on the field behind St. Francis Junior High. Starting at 6:30 p.m. and running till 8:00 p.m., women aged 16+ are invited to learn about football, practice skills, and play some touch football.
On Tuesday, August 9, 2022, Lantic Agriculture is hosting a Harvest Hiring Event at the Heritage Inn & Convention Centre in Taber. Beginning at 9:00 a.m., Lantic Agriculture is looking to fill a number of positions in many municipalities across Southern Alberta at its Beet Receiving Stations. According to the Facebook event, successful candidates are eligible for a retention bonus at the end of the season. The Slice Bar & Grill is hosting a Blues Jam with Keith “Catfish” Woodrow on Tuesday evening. Kicking off at 8:00 p.m. and running until midnight, you’re invited to sign up and sing some songs. There is no cover for the blues jam, just bring your guitar and the Slice will provide a full backline.
