Expect traffic delays as Bridge Rehabilitation project gets underway

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge plans to begin phase one of its 2022 Bridge Rehabilitation project next week.

Starting Tuesday, September 6, 2022, lanes will be reduced along Scenic Drive South on the Whoop-Up Drive overpass to allow maintenance work on the bridge.

The roadwork will continue until October 21, 2022, weather permitting.

Drivers are asked to use caution and follow construction signs and detours in the area.

The City says Lethbridge Transit routes may be affected, so transit riders are asked to call 311 during business hours for any scheduling questions or concerns.
