Power outage planned for sections of south Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB — The City of Lethbridge is advising residents of a planned power outage on Tuesday, September 13 that will affect approximately 100 households in south Lethbridge.

The planned outage will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the following areas:

• 14 Street and 15 Street South from 7 Avenue to 9 Avenue South
• 16 Street South from 8 Avenue to 9 Avenue South

City officials say the outage will last approximately 8 hours, weather permitting, as crews work to upgrade power lines in the area. The City warns that outages may be rescheduled without notice if there is extreme weather or other uncontrollable factors.
