Meanwhile, the Kodiaks women’s soccer team has announced the addition of centre-back Abby Jackson. Jackson previously played two seasons with the U of L Pronghorns and said in a news release from Kodiaks Athletics that she transferred to the college to enter the Practical Nurse program.

Coach Carey believes Jackson will be a strong asset to the team. He said, “Her soccer I.Q. and positioning are very strong.”

Carey continued, “She has that experience and she knows where to go. She can read the play before it happens.”
