Lethbridge Search and Rescue crews assist in finding missing Medicine Hat boy

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Police say a boy reported missing on Saturday evening [September 24, 2022] has been located safe and sound.

An eight-year-old boy was reported missing from the River Flats area at around 7:00 p.m. and Medicine Hat Police Service asked for the public’s assistance.

Searches were conducted early Sunday morning by police and members of the public. South Eastern Alberta Search and Rescue and Lethbridge and Area Search and Rescue were also involved.

Police thank everyone for their assistance.
