Cardston RCMP on scene of collision between semi-truck and school bus

CARDSTON, AB – The RCMP is noting a road closure on Highway 810 in Cardston County.

At 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022, police responded to a motor vehicle collision between a semi truck and a school bus on Highway 810 and Highway 505.

The RCMP, Fire and EMS are currently on scene.

Police say there were children on the bus at the time of the collision and at this time, only minor injuries have been reported.

The RCMP says the intersection “will not be passable for some time” and motorists are asked to avoid the area. An update will be provided when more information becomes available.
