Lethbridge Police respond to collision on Mayor Magrath Drive South

UPDATE – Lethbridge police have cleared the affected intersection of Mayor Magrath Drive South and Fairmont Boulevard.

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking the public to take alternate routes after officers were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision on the 2600 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South.

LPS is asking motorists to avoid northbound Mayor Magrath Drive, until further notice.

Two motorists were taken to Chinook Regional Hospital for minor injuries, and the collision itself remains under investigation by the Traffic Response Unit.

Lethbridge Police Service thanks the public for their patience, and no further information will be released.
