LETHBRIDGE, AB – Looking for something to do this weekend other than spending time with family? Well you’re in luck as there are plenty of events taking place around Lethbridge to keep you busy.

On Friday, October 7, and Saturday, October 8, 2022, head down to the Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club to catch Michaela Chung. Chung has written two books that focus on how introverts can thrive in an extrovert world. Both shows start at 8:00 p.m. and feature Chung as well as Shealeigh Smith, Brian Dawydiuk and host Meagan Windle. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.

If you’re more into live music than live comedy, head to Honkers Pub in North Lethbridge to catch The Trippy Hippys. Enjoy the music from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022 as The Trippy Hippys and others take the stage.

Love music but want to dance along too? Check out Temptations; A Black and Gold Themed Dance. Starting at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022, you’re invited to get dressed up in black and gold themed clothes in order to raise funds for the 2023 Lethbridge Electronic Music Festival. The event, which is being held at the Southern Alberta Ethnic Association, will feature four dj’s, and will also include food vendors offering Nigerian finger food. Tickets for this event can be purchased on Eventbrite.

Find some zen before you hang out with family members this Thanksgiving. Pop Up Yoga Lethbridge is hosting SUN-Day cOMmunity Yoga at Casa. The yoga class will take place on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 10:15 until 11:15 a.m. at Casa and will be run on a “Pay what you can” system. The yoga class is a level 1/2 Vinyasa Yoga class which means people of any skill level can join the practice.
