Lethbridge man guilty of careless driving
LETHBRIDGE, AB – A verdict of guilty has been declared after a 10-year-old was killed in a collision more than two years ago.
In Lethbridge Provincial Court on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, Judge Timothy Hironaka declared that Neil Martin Skjodt, 54, is guilty of one count of careless driving under the Traffic Safety Act.
On August 13, 2020, a collision occurred in which a vehicle travelling southbound on Aquitania Boulevard West made a right-hand turn into the westbound lanes of Whoop-Up Drive.
Two boys, who were crossing the street with their father, were struck by the vehicle.
