LETHBRIDGE, AB – Residents of the Victoria Park neighbourhood in south Lethbridge are invited to attend a series of meetings about the future of the area.

The City of Lethbridge continues to work on the Victoria Park Area Redevelopment Plan, a document that will inform how the area should be developed in the years to come.

Victoria Park includes homes, businesses, and parks in the area of 13 Street South to Mayor Magrath Drive South and 3 Avenue South to 12 Avenue South.

Resident workshops will explore the themes of neighbourhood insights and neighbourhood design preferences.

The insights will include themes of historical backgrounds, demographics, and local experiences.

In the design theme, city officials look to hear from residents on housing options, a mix of land uses, and building and site design.

Workshops will be held at the Navy League building at 1708 10 Avenue South. They will take place on November 14, 15, and 16, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.

Participants will be required to pre-register for the event they plan to attend. You can pre-register and learn more about the Victoria Park Area Redevelopment Plan on the Eventbrite website.
