LETHBRIDGE, AB – Police are investigating a sudden death in North Lethbridge.
The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) said that at approximately 6:35 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2022, Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a report of a fire. Police say the blaze was in the outside stairwell of a home along the 2100 block of 5 Avenue North.
The LPS noted that while crews were extinguishing the flames, a body was discovered.
The investigation remains in the early stages.
