It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful MICHELLE RENEE BIG THROAT (Ksissoonsski) on Thursday, December 8, 2022 in Lethbridge AB at the age of 34 years.
Michelle was a beautiful, kind and artistic soul. She had a fiery spirit and would make anyone feel welcomed and accepted when in her presence. She had a funky style and she loved to express herself through art and fashion. And when she wasn’t drawing or writing then she was painting. Michelle was so very talented. She loved to sing and she loved to dance. She loved music and sharing her favorite songs with her loved ones. She had a warm gentle side and would encourage everyone to just be themselves. Michelle was our hippy and our free spirit.
Michelle graduated high school in the spring of 2006 from Catholic Central High School in Lethbridge. We were all very proud of her. She later attended Bella Elite Beauty Academy. She enjoyed giving haircuts and practicing her skills for friends and family. She had a flare for beauty and she loved to make others feel beautiful. Michelle was a free spirit and she worked various jobs throughout her life. She was very independent and made friends easily along her travels. One memorable job experience for Michelle was when she worked with our late father. They made furniture together and they did it so proudly.
It wasn’t until Michelle welcomed her first beautiful baby girl Josie Samantha Rain in the spring of May 2013 that her real purpose came calling. Michelle was so proud of her daughter and she was so proud to be a mother. A year later, her beautiful big-eyed girl followed, Leillah Alleigh Sunrise. Next came her sweetheart, Breanna Heavyn. Michelle’s family fondly nicknamed her girls “the screamer sisters”. When one would cry, another would start and then everyone was crying. Michelle was so proud of all her girls. Last came Charlee Ella in December 2020. Michelle and her sister Darcelle worked closely together for her last baby girl. Although our beautiful Michelle is gone, her legacy will live on through each of her girls. They proudly called her “Mama”. Michelle’s girls will be well taken care of and loved by their grandparents Bruce and Carla, Aunty Darcelle and Uncle Byron.
Michelle is survived by her beautiful daughters, Josie, Leillah, Breanna and Charlee; her mother and step-father, Charlene and Radford Brewer; her sisters: Janelle, Veronica (Felisha), Darcelle (Byron), Mandy, and Hanna (RJ); her nieces and nephews: Darcy-James, Lilyanna, Adam Lane, Danica, Rosaliya, Marcus, Lennox, Noelle, Jaylin, Dakota, Autumn, Jett, Darren, Stone, Shooter, Taylor and Rhietta; cousins Leila and Esme as well as my others, too numerous to mention. Michelle was also a great-aunt to Zaquoia, Darlynn and Atreyis; and brothers Sonny-Ray, Jason Melting Tallow, Nathan, Lyle and Victor. Michelle is also survived by the love of her life, Carson Weasel Fat. She is survived by her grandparents Raymond and Veronica Brewer; aunties: Michelle P. Big Throat (Byron), Maria (Darwin) Chief Moon, Lana Brewer (Sheldon), Melissa (Levi) Little Moustache, Janice Running Rabbit (Owen) Theresa (Ed) Walters, Valerie Good Striker, Philomena (Rusty) Schindler, Frieda Melting Tallow and her special aunty sister Robyn Johns; uncles: Jason Running Rabbit, Kelvin Brewer (Tobi), Darryl (Olivia) Good Striker, Floyd (Sharon) Melting Tallow and Ron Good Striker.
