MyCityCare Shop of Wonders helps over 1,700 children for annual Christmas campaign

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The MyCityCare Shop of Wonders initiative has wrapped up for the holiday season.

Over the past month, MyCityCare has been collecting donations for children and adults across Lethbridge. Its Shop of Wonders is a Christmas experience aimed at resourcing gifts and stocking stuffers for struggling families. Families can visit the shop to pick up Christmas gifts for children, teens and adults.

With the community’s support, the Shop of Wonders was able to provide gifts to over 1,763 children and 3,913 total individuals as part of the 2022 campaign.

The Shop of Wonders is part of MyCityCare, which is a program that spans across Western Canada. This Christmas, the Shop of Wonders served over 7,131 people.

In 2021, over 900 children and 1,400 individuals were helped through the Shop of Wonders in Lethbridge.
