City seeking feedback on future dog park locations in Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Residents in Lethbridge can voice their thoughts on possible locations for future dog parks in the city. All residents, including those who do not own a dog, are invited to provide feedback.

Between May 30 and June 27, 2022, the City of Lethbridge conducted Phase One of its dog park engagement process.

A public survey asked for feedback on potential locations and designs of future dog parks. From the input received, six potential sites were identified:

  • 20 Avenue South Greenstrip
  • The northeast corner of Henderson Park
  • 28 Street North between 7 Avenue and 9 Avenue
  • Kodiak Park North
  • Coalbanks Park West
  • The northwest or southeast corner of Nicholas Sheran Park

Lethbridge residents can take part in Phase Two of the dog park engagement process through an online survey. Citizens can also share their thoughts at the upcoming Community Conversation event at the ENMAX Centre on January 18, 2023. The online survey will be open until January 30.
