LETHBRIDGE, AB – Nominations are still open for the Lethbridge Sports Hall of Fame class of 2023.
Lethbridge Sports Hall of Fame is a non-profit made up of community members who celebrate the achievements of Lethbridge and area athletes and builders.
Nominations are open for the following categories:
- Athlete: this honour recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves in competition in Lethbridge or elsewhere, or by example, have brought great credit to the sport and high respect for the individuals.
- Team: this recognizes Lethbridge-based teams that have won a national, international or world championship, or have achieved the highest possible award at their level of competition.
- Builder: the category formally recognizes the initiative, leadership and dedication of individuals who participate in the development of sport.
- Special award: this recognizes individual and/or organizations that have made outstanding and valuable contributions to sports or to the community of Lethbridge through sports. This category is to reward those who have made these significant contributions but do not qualify under the other categories.
