Lethbridge County residents advised of upcoming bridge replacement

LETHBRIDGE COUNTY, AB – Officials with Lethbridge County have issued a notice of a bridge replacement near Coaldale.

Residents are advised that construction is scheduled to start on Monday, February 6, 2023. Crews will be replacing a bridge. The bridge is a culvert structure located on Range Road 19-4, about nine kilometres southeast of Coaldale.

Lethbridge County said the bridge has “reached the end of its useful life” and it was identified for a replacement under the County’s yearly bridge replacement program. The program is funded through the 2022 Capital Budget.

A portion of Range Road 19-4, south of Highway 512 and north of Township Road 8-4 will be closed for the length of the project, with access available for local traffic only. Drivers are asked to follow all signage and be aware of crews working in the area.
