No injuries reported in north Lethbridge fire Sunday night

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A weekend fire in Lethbridge caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages.

At around 7:12 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2023, Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a report of a residential fire at 1550 St. Francis Road North.

Crew members from three stations, with 18 firefighters in total, responded and quickly controlled the fire. Responders were able to contain the flames to the building of origin.

The City of Lethbridge said there were no occupants present when firefighters arrived on scene, and no injuries were reported.

The damage estimate is $150,000 to $200,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
