It is with deep sorrow the family announces the passing of their dear mother, grandmother and Nana, ANNIE LITTAU, with her loving children at her side, at St. Michael’s Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit, on Friday, February 3, 2023, at the age of 76 years, following a very brief battle with cancer.

She will be forever loved and sadly missed by her daughter Carol, son Kevin (Carmen), grandchildren Sonya, Taylor, Sheldon and Jayden, and treasured great-grandchildren Karlin, Rayanne, and Chase, as well as her sisters and dear nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ben in 2011, her parents, and in-laws.

Annie was born in Germany on April 6, 1946 and immigrated to Canada in 1952 with her parents and young sister. She was a longtime homemaker and then a much-loved waitress at various iterations of Poly’s restaurant. To quote a long-time customer, “She was the best waitress ever and we all felt she was a good friend.”

A Reception will be held in Annie’s honour at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
