BROOKS, AB – The RCMP has apprehended a man following an assault that allegedly took place last week.

In the early morning hours of April 5, 2023, officers were called to an intersection north of Rolling Hills, AB, a hamlet in Newell County, on a report that a physical assault had occurred.

The RCMP said it was able to track a suspect to a home south of the hamlet. Upon seeing the attending officers, the suspect reportedly ran into the house and refused to leave.
