Lethbridge man charged with property crime offences
LETHBRIDGE , AB – Lethbridge Police have charged a man with property crime offences following an investigation into car prowling incidents in the neighbourhood of Riverstone.
On April 11, 2023, at approximately 3:10 a.m., police responded to a report that a man had entered a vehicle along Stonecrest Point and was seen entering additional vehicles in the area.
Officers located the suspect, who they report proceeded to run from police. The suspect was apprehended by a police dog and treated by EMS. A later search resulted in the recovery of a stolen garage door opener, bank cards, gift cards, change and keys.
18-year-old Drayden Jeffrey Raymond Jacques is charged with housebreaking and commit theft (for entering an attached garage), four counts of theft under $5,000, and two counts each of possession of stolen property and possession of stolen credit cards.
