City of Lethbridge looking for feedback on snowplow operations in 2022/2023

LETHBRIDGE, AB – With warmer weather sweeping across southern Alberta over the past few weeks, it’s safe to say that snow should not be in the forecast anytime soon.

As a result, the City of Lethbridge has put the snowplows away for the season and officials are hoping to receive some feedback from residents on how successful operations were during the 2022/2023 season.

Staff members hope to hear from people who live on and/or live adjacent to, or worked on Phase One snow routes. While anyone can submit their feedback, the survey is intended to collect input from those who regularly used the impacted parking lanes, and those who lived adjacent to the Phase One areas.

Information collected from the survey will be considered in the planning of Phase Two snow routes for the next winter season.

Residents in the impacted areas and those who have the Lethbridge Loop app downloaded should have received a survey link. Alternatively, people can access the survey at the Get Involved Lethbridge website.

Those who complete the survey have the option to enter a draw for a custom prize package that includes a street operations ride-along experience and a hand-held leaf/snow blower.

To learn more about snow and ice control go to the City of Lethbridge website.
