MARK JOSEPH GORDON CHEQUIS, beloved husband of Rachel Chequis and father to Sebastian, Maddy, Chris, Ashley, Daniel and Jordan, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the age of 44 years.

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you, that on May 3, 2023, Mark was diagnosed with cancer at the Chinook Regional Hospital ER.  It attacked so hard and fast.

Mark fought a fierce battle and was more concerned with the wellbeing of others, even at this time. He shared the love and peace of Jesus, prayed with strangers in distress and spread kindness.

Mark walked with us as we faced the realities of what was to come, full of love, laughter and support, literally to his last breath.

On May 27^th at 7:20am, our beloved Mark walked from the loving arms of his earthly family into the loving arms of our heavenly father.

We’ll see you when we are looking at you.

A Celebration of Mark’s Life will be held at PARALLEL CHURCH, 1 mile east of Lethbridge on Hwy 3, on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 1:30 P.M, with Pastor Jeremy Hazell officiating.

Cremation entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to Cornerstone Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
