MAGRATH, AB – The Alberta Emergency Alert has been cancelled for the Town of Magrath.

The notice was first issued at 10:55 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2023.

It was cancelled as of 2:05 p.m. on Thursday.

MAGRATH, AB – An Alberta Emergency Alert has been issued for the Town of Magrath.

The alert was issued at 10:55 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2023 with residents advised of a dangerous animal in the area. The alert noted that a cougar was reported seen on the Magrath trail.

Citizens are asked to avoid the area, keep their pets on a leash or confined.
