Hurricanes sign Scott to WHL contract

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes have signed defenceman Will Scott to a Western Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement.

Scott, 15, was taken by the Hurricanes in the fourth round of the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft with the 73rd overall pick.

The 2008-born defenceman played for the Okanagan U15 Prep team and put up 25 points in 27 games this past season.

Scott is the second player from the 2023 draft to sign with the Hurricanes, after forward Chase Petersen signed on June 1, 2023.
