City of Lethbridge to provide Father’s Day flowers at Mountain View Cemetery

LETHBRIDGE, AB – With Father’s Day coming up on Sunday, June 18, 2023, the City of Lethbridge would like to help families honour fatherly figures who have passed on.

Parks & Cemeteries staff at Mountain View Cemetery will be gifting the first 250 visitors with a gerbera daisy to place on the sites of their loved ones.

The tradition of offering flowers on Mother’s and Father’s Day to remember loved ones has been on-going with the City of Lethbridge since 2018.

Cemetary staff indicated that Father’s Day tends to be a busy day at the cemetery, and the small act of providing a flower helps to make the visit special.
