Jun 19, 2023 | 1:50 PM

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) said it is looking for whomever is responsible for stealing a “large collection” of trading cards.

On May 10, 2023, a resident located three binders in a bush along the 4100 block of 22 Avenue South. The binders contained “Magic: The Gathering” cards.

The resident told police that they tried to locate the owner of the cards by advertising on social media and speaking with local comic book stores, but has been unsuccessful so far.

In order to claim the card collection, LPS said proof of ownership is required.

“The rightful owner must be able to describe the binders, including what colour(s) they are as well as the specific contents,” LPS stated in a news release.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the LPS Property Crimes and Exhibits Unit at 403-330-6009 and reference file 23052988.
