LETHBRIDGE, AB – Six Lethbridge Hurricanes are attending development camps for NHL teams this week.

Following a year where he put up a .919 save percentage in 24 games with the Canes, goaltender Bryan Thomson is at the Dallas Stars development camp.

Defenseman Chase Pauls is attending the development camp for the Minnesota Wild. The 6’4, 224 pound defenceman had seven goals and 20 points in 66 games for the Hurricanes this past season, along with 65 penalty minutes.

Another Hurricanes goaltender, Harrison Meneghin, is attending the Minnesota Wild camp after a successful year as the Hurricanes’ primary starter. Meneghin had a 19-12-4 record with a 2.83 goals against average (GAA) and a .908 save percentage in 36 games.

Fresh off his selection in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, defenceman Noah Chadwick is at the development camp for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Chadwick was taken with the Leafs’ sixth round draft pick in 2023.

Joe Arntsen is making an appearance at the camp of the New York Rangers. Arntsen finished his Hurricanes tenure by putting up 11 goals and 35 points in 68 games for the club he joined back in the 2018-19 season.

Finally, the Canes’ number two scorer in 2022-23, Jett Jones, is attending the camp of the Stanley Cup champion Vegas Golden Knights. Jones, like Arntsen, first played for the Hurricanes in the 2018-19 season, and put up 54 goals in parts of five seasons with Lethbridge.

Chadwick, Pauls and Meneghin will be eligible to return to the Hurricanes for next season.
