It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of JEANETTE “JEANY” FEATHERSTONE, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend on July 5th, 2023 at the age of 77 years.

Jeany may have been stubborn and opinionated but always showed kindness and loyalty to those she loved and cared for. She was competitive at playing cards and games and therefore her quirk was always having a trick up her sleeve. Jeany took pride in her collections, especially her VHS collection. She enjoyed her crosswords, word searches, camping, and playing cards. Jeany loved hosting Christmas dinner parties and New Years parties throughout the years. She was always welcoming in her home, and showed that through her dedication to having snacks and candy around. Her canine companions were dear to her and will be greeting her at the gates in the clouds.

Jeany was predeceased by her parents, John “Jack” and Annie Friesen, sisters, Helen Herron and Nettie Skelten, and grandson, Cameron Featherstone.

She is lovingly remembered by husband, Larry Featherstone, children, Geraldine Featherstone and Wanda Stotyn, brother, Chester Friesen, sister, Annabelle Chambers, grandchildren, Nicole Chorman and Kristen Stotyn, and great-grandchildren, Mia Edmond and Isis Featherstone.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825-32nd Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. with Pat Siedlecki officiating.
