Structure fire breaks out near Enchant

ENCHANT, AB – A structure fire broke out in the Enchant area in the evening hours of Friday, August 11, 2023.

According to a social media post from Fire_man_2017 on Facebook, four crews from the MD of Taber Regional Fire Services.

According to a social media post from Fire_man_2017 on Facebook, four crews from the MD of Taber Regional Fire Services (MDTRFS) were on scene fighting the fire and trying to protect other properties at 8:40 p.m.

Shortly after, three water trucks from an area business were reported to be on route to supply water support.

At 8:52 p.m., crews reported a propane explosion at the site of the fire, and were telling the public to avoid the area. Alberta Health Services responded to a request for a firefighter rehabilitation station just before 9:00 p.m.
