Kodiaks men’s soccer team adds fullback Ty Stensrud

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge College Kodiaks men’s soccer team has added a local defensive star to the squad.

On August 24, 2023, the team announced the commitment of fullback Ty Stensrud, a recent graduate of Chinook High School in Lethbridge. Stensrud also spent time with the Lethbridge Football Club (LFC) and the Whitecaps Academy throughout high school.

The defensive-focused Stensrud said he is familiar with the Kodiaks’ play style, having attended multiple open sessions with the team.

Kodiaks head coach Sean Carey said, “He’s going to affect the game in such a positive way. He’s going to help the team win quite a few games this season by playing his typical style.”
