Help sought to identify person of interest in Lethbridge assault

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking for help to identify a person of interest in connection with an assault.

The LPS said that officers responded to a report of a man being assaulted outside of a residence along the 1800 block of 14 Avenue North on May 2, 2023.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police have released a CCTV image of a black GMC Sierra truck they say is connected to the incident. Anyone with information that could help identify the driver/owner of the truck is asked to come forward.

Individuals with information can call the LPS at 403-328-4444 and reference file 23009667. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers online.

The investigation is ongoing.
