Power outage impacts hundreds in south and north Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – UPDATE: 11:35 a.m. The City of Lethbridge said it has restored the power to hundreds of homes and businesses.

Officials say the outage was due to wildlife (bird/animal) and was resolved as of 11:09 a.m.

An unplanned power outage has affected hundreds of homes and businesses in Lethbridge.

According to the City of Lethbridge Power Outages map, an unplanned outage occurred at 10:25 a.m. on Monday, September 11, 2023.

A total of 404 customers have been impacted.

At the time of publication, the cause of the outage is under investigation.

There is no word on when power will be restored.
