Lethbridge Police Service asking for public’s help identifying break and enter suspect

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking for the public’s help with a break and enter investigation.

On May 14, 2023 at approximately 12:16 a.m., police responded to a report of a break-in at a residence along the 3000 block of South Parkside Drive.

Police stated that the homeowners heard a noise and confronted an unknown male in their furnace room, leading to an altercation. One of the victims sustained a laceration above his eye.

The suspect is described as approximately 5’9” to 5’10” tall, with a stocky build. He was wearing all black clothing with a white face cover.

The LPS said officers canvassed numerous residences and businesses in the area, and processed forensic evidence from the scene. However, they have not been able to identify the suspect, and are now asking for help from citizens.
