LETHBRIDGE, AB – As we inch closer to Halloween, there are many themed events in the city on the weekend, and Lethbridge News Now has the details.

Lethbridge Hurricanes vs. Red Deer Rebels – October 20, 2023

The Lethbridge Hurricanes host the Red Deer Rebels on Friday. The Hurricanes are coming of a 3-2 overtime victory over the Calgary Hitmen to snap their three-game losing streak. Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m.

Field of Screams – October 20-31, 2023

Field of Screams returns to Spitz Stadium for 2023 beginning Friday. The Lethbridge Halloween staple is with a longer tour, thrilling scares, and more surprises. Field of Screams is a collaboration between Prairie Baseball Academy, Lethbridge Bulls and Under The Lights Sports and Entertainment. Tickets can be found here.

Waking Death Performance Series: The Late Night Ghost Show – October 20, 2023

CASA is holding the Waking Death Performance Series: The Late Night Ghost Show on Friday. In the performance, Mia van Leeuwen presents a new work in progress inspired by her research and play with ghosts, griefs, rituals and spook shows. It also features multiple local talents. The show begins at 8:00 p.m.

Lethbridge Corn Maze – September 1 – October 28, 2023

The Lethbridge Corn Maze is continuing to run until October 28. The attraction features four different mazes, along with food and a petting zoo. More information can be found here.

City & Baby – October 21, 2023

City & Baby, Lethbridge’s long-running baby event is back for 2023. The event features shopping for babies and mothers, local vendors and available services for parents. The event runs from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition. More information can be found here.

University of Lethbridge (U of L) Open House – October 21, 2023

The U of L hosts an Open House this weekend. It will provide prospective students a chance to learn more about the programs offered at the Lethbridge post-secondary. The open house is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Additionally, the U of L will host the Graduate Studies Virtual Open House on Saturday, October 28, providing prospective students with a similar opportunity in a virtual format.
