‘Trick or Eat’: Lethbridge’s new Halloween initiative

Oct 25, 2023 | 11:09 AM

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Residents in Lethbridge have the chance to participate in a new Halloween initiative.

Much like the tradition of trick or treating, Trick or Eat involves very similar actions.

Rebecca Rauda is the organizer of the cause. She said, “Grab a friend or two, so no one is alone on Halloween night, and instead of going door-to-door for candy, you go door-to-door collecting non-perishable food items for the Interfaith Food Bank.”

All adults and teens are welcome to participate. Parents can even make their pick-ups while their children are trick-or-treating.

Based on the participants who have already signed up, the pick-up routes will be mostly on the west and north sides of Lethbridge.

Sign-up is closed as of this publication, but Rauda said exceptions can be made if individuals still want to be involved and register as soon as possible.

You can sing-up at the Trick or Eat Lethbridge Facebook page, or email organizers at trickoreatlethbridge@gmail.com.
