No injuries in Lethbridge school bus collision

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge School Division has released a statement on a collision involving a bus carrying some of its students.

At 8:24 a.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, the division said the Southland Transportation Ltd. DAVIDSON-BAWDEN S2 bus was involved in a collision at the intersection of 10 Avenue South and Mayor Magrath Drive South.

Two students who attend Fleetwood-Bawden Elementary School were on the bus at the time. The students have been cleared by EMS with no injuries.

The parents of the students involved were informed of the collision and were on scene to pick them up.

The school division said the cause of the collision has yet to be determined and that the investigation is ongoing.
