Lethbridge Hurricanes vs. Portland Winter Hawks – November 4, 2023

The Lethbridge Hurricanes are in action twice this weekend. On Friday, they will be in Medicine Hat facing off against the Tigers. The Canes will then travel home to host the Portland Winter Hawks on Saturday. Puck drop on Saturday is at 6 p.m.

Building Brains Through Play – November 3, 2023

The Helen Schuler Nature Centre is hosting a Building Brains Through Play event on Friday. From 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., participants can try a variety of games and explore how they strengthen your brain. The event is for ages 11 to 15, and more information can be found here.

The Full Monty – October 26 – November 4, 2023

Lethbridge Musical Theatre’s, The Full Monty , finishes its run on the weekend. The show, based on the classic British comedy, tells the story of six unemployed men who decide to form a male striptease act in order to make money. The production takes place at the Yates Memorial Theatre, and tickets can be purchased at the ENMAX Centre website.

Diwali Festival – November 4, 2023

The Diwali Festival comes to the Galt Museum & Archives this weekend on Saturday. The festival of lights event features music, dancing, food and other performances. The event begins at 2 p.m. and runs until 4 p.m., and is free to attend.

Lethbridge College Kodiaks volleyball – November 4, 2023

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks volleyball teams are in action on Saturday at the Val Matteotti Gymnasium. The women’s team begins their game at 1:00 p.m., taking on the University of Alberta-Augustana Vikings. The men’s team will then be on at 3:00, facing off against Medicine Hat College.
